Apparently carpenter jorts are what the kids are wearing these days so...

Pockets pockets pockets - I never get tired of suggesting that one should make their dolls also their storage

All is sewn from a denim shirt - I decided to unpick a lot of seams and use the "less favourable" bits like collar/sleeves first in case I want to do a bigger project later on. All the hems etc were quite useful in making the jorts a bit more interesting and giving the hems a slight natural worn-ness. They did end up a bit tight from the hips, though, and I still can't quite figure out the waistband right (but at least it doesn't gap).

This cropped hoodie is something I'd had on my mind for so long and I just never got started. But I did conquer it now!

Maybe next time I'd adjust the hood shape more so it falls a bit better, but overall I'm pleased - looks comfy, too!

Didn't love the tight shorts so I made some looser/shorter ones. I think I like this look much more!
The fabric is scrap from my own old pants.

Not the neatest hem, but the fabric was a bit weird to sew (excuses, excuses) and I couldn't get the thread tension right.
Maybe I'll just press them again...

Still trying to get the oversized look just right - the big girls need more summer wear so I've been sewing t-shirts. At first I made this one by adding width to the body of my go-to shirt pattern but forgot that adding width in the middle also makes the neckhole larger. I mean, it's a look! But not quite what I wanted and Morrow is swimming in it (I think I need to put her on an SD13 body someday)

I went back the next day and made a new one that looks one size smaller - much better! I dress pretty much the same in the summer so it was funny looking at her while wearing the same exact fit, made from my own old tshirt; maybe I'll need to make an actual black pair of bike shorts for a proper match at some point...

A cropped bomber jacket made from a random little pouch after it wasn't usable any more. Barely enough fabric! But we made it!

A pink windbreaker with reflective details. I used the fluffy jacket raglan pattern I'd drafted last year and somehow ended up with a very crooked result in the front lol. But I think it's a cool jacket nevertheless! The reflective bits fell off something I was wearing so I'm glad they have a new life now.

Still on the oversized wave, a simple sweatshirt for the big girls. It's nice when everyone's comfy! Based on the SD13 boys pj shirt pattern (with some added width/length) from Undead Threads

My new approach to the scrap box is figuring out what I could make from the scrap and NOT making endless patchwork. I would not have made a cargo skirt and halter top if it wasn't for a failed pair of pants and a failed pair of underwear in there.

Orange fleece jacket - sadly the fabric wasn't *as* good and fluffy as the green one, I'd love it if it was a bit more plump.
